BNL Productions have worked on the local Christmas Switch on events for a number of years now. These past few years have had their own challenges, this year they were asked to create a safe, family friendly experience for everyone to enjoy the start of a great Christmas Season in Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Area.

Normally Santa arrives on a vehicle of some description, however, this year things were a little different. Santa was arriving virtually from the North Pole via video link and then he would later magically arrive on stage.

BNL Productions have been working alongside the local council for a number of years on various projects, none is more festive than the annual Christmas Light Switch on events. These event happen in Portadown, Lurgan, Banbridge and Dromore and draw crowds of between 3000-4000 people.

With the past number of years being difficult due to Coronavirus, this years event was a little different. BNL created custom video content and worked with actors to create a truly unique experience. Our LED Screen was perfect for these events, we were able to build a custom size, fitting the stage perfectly to still allow acts to perform. Content created by BNL Productions was then played at various times throughout the event.

The virtual arrival of Santa was really well done, a well rehearsed Elf interacted with Santa via a virtual video link.
