Lush Classical: A Decade of Exceptional AV Support

We recently partnered with LSFX for Lush Classical, an annual event that has delighted audiences for nearly a decade. This unique blend of classical music and contemporary sounds required a seamless and powerful AV setup to match its energy and scale. With our full video package, we aimed to create an immersive experience that would captivate audiences throughout the night.

The AV Setup: LED Walls and High-Performance Video Systems

For this year’s show, we supplied three massive LED video walls, totalling over 60 square meters. These video walls formed the visual backbone of the event, allowing us to showcase dynamic graphics, close-up shots of performers, and real-time transitions that brought each moment to life. This expansive LED setup provided a stunning visual experience, ensuring every seat had a clear view of the show.

Alongside the LED walls, we deployed an impressive camera setup. Using 11 cameras strategically positioned throughout the venue, we captured multiple perspectives to keep the audience fully engaged, no matter where they were seated. Our camera mixers from Blackmagic Design allowed us to switch fluidly between camera feeds, ensuring smooth transitions and a seamless flow to the night’s visuals.

Graphics Machines and Screen Management

To complement the camera feeds, we utilised four dedicated graphics machines, providing additional layers of visual content and effects. Each graphics machine played a role in maintaining a consistent, polished aesthetic that aligned with the event’s theme. We also implemented Barco screen management servers, enabling us to control and manage the video content displayed on the LED walls with precision.

Collaborative Approach with LSFX

Our approach to this project was collaborative from the beginning. Working closely with LSFX and the event team, we spent time understanding exactly what was needed for the event. Our crew engaged in extensive planning sessions, making sure every detail of the video production was tailored to bring Lush Classical’s unique vision to life. This involved creating a precise timeline, synchronising all video elements, and ensuring that every technical detail aligned with the creative goals of the event.

The combination of our LED walls, camera systems, and seamless graphics created an unforgettable visual experience that matched the grandiose nature of Lush Classical.
