We recently had the pleasure of supplying all the AV equipment for this year’s Releve Dance Competition, held at Armagh Market Place Theatre. Releve isn’t just any dance competition; it’s a three-day extravaganza where students from various categories showcase their talent in front of industry-leading judges and teachers, competing for some big prizes.

What sets Releve apart is not just its ambiance, but also its cutting-edge technology. We’re proud to be part of an event that invests in both aesthetics and functionality, ensuring an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators alike.

This year, we provided a jaw-dropping curved 12m-wide LED Video wall, setting the stage for the performers. Collaborating closely with the Releve team, we helped create content, featuring over 1300 Qlab cues for various elements of the three-day event. Additionally, we helped produced custom video content daily, enhancing the evening awards ceremonies with highlights from each day’s performances.

One of the highlights of our involvement this year was our innovative workflow that enabled real-time recording and instant availability of each dance performance. Utilizing technology including Blackmagic ATEM hardware, QLAB and other automation software, we were able to create a workflow that created an individual video for each dancer, ready within a few seconds of hem leaving the stage.

The passion driving the success of Releve stems from Bradley Henderson, supported by his wife Ciara. Their dedication to excellence in their photography business translates seamlessly into the flawless execution of this event, and we’re privileged to contribute to its success.
